It was a big shock to me, and of course, the whole world, hearing the news about Whitney Houston's sudden death. Passing time on the Xbox when all of a sudden, the alert on my IPhone, from the NYTimes app came up. As word, tweets, statuses and posts spread worldwide, it was clear everyone was as stunned as I was upon receiving the news.
From what began as a glamarous career filled with numerous hits and awards and accolades, it deserved a better end than what actually happened earlier this week.
